S-WPV (R) spring isolators are used for vibration isolation in technical applications. They are installed between the vibration source and the substructure to reduce vibration. The system composed of a vibration source and a spring isolator is characterized by its natural frequency. Using sufficient spring isolators can achieve optimal vibration isolation.

The spring isolator is composed of springs with additional viscous dampers. Its main application areas are in factory engineering, used for isolating machines and reducing resonance vibrations. The spring isolator system consists of the following main components: housing and spiral steel compression spring, as well as additional viscous dampers.

Standard anti-corrosion
The components undergo the following standard surface treatments. Alternative anti-corrosion measures can be separately agreed upon.

Shell:

Surface treatment C3 medium in accordance with ISO 12944

Sandblasting treatment according to EN ISO 12944-4 SA 2 1/2 level

Primer zinc rich primer, dry film thickness 60 μ m

The final coating has a dry film thickness of 60 μ m and a color of RAL 5012, light blue. The total dry film thickness of the system is approximately 120 μ m

Spring:

Surface treatment C4 high, compliant with ISO 12944 cathodic electrophoretic coating, thickness 20 µ m
